About Us

Young women in Algeria prepare to film inside a wedding tent during a Goethe-Institut funded Glocal intercultural exchange project.

We believe storytelling is a catalyst for transformation: personal, social and systemic.

Glocal Collective creates space for connection, imagination and action.

One story at a time.

We bring together communities, creatives, and change-makers to co-create work that matters.

Rooted in participatory video and social science, Glocal Collective creates social impact through storytelling, drawing on two decades of experience in 50+ countries.

How we work

We use film and media to spark empathy, challenge societal norms and share powerful human stories that matter.

We equip individuals and organisations with the tools to tell their own stories, shifting narratives, amplifying diverse perspectives and driving sustainable change.

Shaped by lived experience, local knowledge and collaboration, our approach is inclusive, community-led, and ethically grounded.

Who we work with

As a non-profit creative collective, we collaborate with charities, NGOs, local authorities, and institutions across the cultural, educational, and international development sectors.
